Robert Lee Love MABANK - Graveside services for Robert Lee Love, 69, Mabank, formerly of Athens, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens, with the Rev. Jeff Godwin officiating under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens. Mr. Love died Jan. 8, 2007, in an Athens nursing home. He was born July 19, 1937, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Roy Wesley and Mary Jewell Wasson Love. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a professional truck driver, retiring in 1993 from Tyler Pipe after 16 years of service. He lived in Athens for more than 35 years prior to moving to Mabank in June 1993. He was preceded in death by son, Doug Love, in 1995 and son-in-law, Tony Weiss, in 2005. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Jean Dool Love, Mabank; sons, Kevin Love, Fort Worth, Steven Love, Bullard, and John Bostick, Athens; daughters, Belinda Murff, Payne Springs, Carolyn Carey and Dolores "Dee" Weiss, both of Tyler; brother, Joe Love, Amoret, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Michael Kemper, Ramey Carey, Nathan Bostick, Adam Bostick, Billy Bostick and Daniel Love. Honorary pallbearers were Robert "Bobby" Kemper, Dr. Douglas Curran and Jim Kirkland.
