Services for Margie "Choo-Choo" Johnson, 53, Dallas, formerly of Bullard, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at Corinth Baptist Church of Bullard with the Rev. L.R. Davis officiating.

Burial was at Corinth Cemetery, Bullard, under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.

Ms. Johnson died Dec. 29, 2006, in Dallas.

She was born May 31, 1953, in Bullard and attended Bullard High School.

She lived in Dallas County for more than 30 years and was an admissions clerk for Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.

She was a member of Carver Heights Baptist Church of Dallas and a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Survivors include son, Marcus Johnson, Dallas; parents, Elmo Sr. and Melvia Johnson, Bullard; brothers, Samuel Johnson, Tyler, Bobby Johnson Sr., Bullard, and Billy Johnson, Duncanville; sisters, Cora Nelson, Tyler, Vera Johnson, Dallas, Stella Johnson and Pamela Johnson, both of Bullard, and Cassandra Johnson, Garland; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers were Wayne Crayton, Preston Brooks, Melvin Williams, Charles King, Jim Henry Nelson Jr. and Tracy Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Corinth Baptist Church.
