Theater holds auditions for `Dirty Work at the Crossroad'

If you would like to be a member of a cast of bumbling characters and enjoy hootin' and hollerin', then come down to the Cherokee Civic Theatre at 116 West 5th Street, just off Courthouse Square in Rusk, and audition for the last play of the season, "Dirty Work At The Crossroads."

Director Jerry Parker will be looking to cast seven women and three men in the old-fashioned melodrama.

Also needed will be stage hands, set designers, etc.

All talent is welcome and needed.

Open auditions will be held two weeks in a row: 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 and 7 p.m. Monday Feb. 5.

The following week, Sunday at 2 p.m. Feb. 11 ; and the last day to audition will be 7 p.m. Monday Feb. 12.

All auditions will be at the Cherokee Civic Theatre in downtown Rusk, and open to anyone.
