While studying the Renaissance, Patti Eden's History/English class at The Brook Hill School used some of Leonardo Da Vinci's plans for flying machines, and built some of their own. Afterwards, the class went outside and experimented with how well they flew. Many of the students began testing different ways of designing the machines to see how well they could improve on Da Vinci's ideas.
