Guthrie-Boutte Jo Ann Guthrie of Frankston is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter Denise "Kukie" Guthrie to Jeffrey "JB" Boutte, son of Dalton and Sylvia Boutte of Grand Marais.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Walter Ray Guthrie.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the home of the groom's parents.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Brownsboro High School and earned her nursing licence at El Centro College in Dallas. She is employed with Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas.

The prospective groom, a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, is employed with Time Warner in Dallas.
