COUNCIL TO WEIGH IN
Homeowner wants special-use permit in residential area
      When Bullard City Council next meets, it's likely many residents of Bullard Heights subdivision will be in attendance. On April 19, Bullard's planning and zoning commission conducted a public hearing to discuss and make a recommendation on a special-use permit for a print shop in the restricted neighborhood.

      The Brook Hill School boys and girls competed in the TAPPS 3A State Golf Tournament in Universal City at Olympia Hill Golf Course, Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24. Bo Seamands, Tim Estridge, and Austin Bell represented the boys.

      Who: All incoming third through ninth graders. Where: Bullard High School Gym. Cost: $40 for the first child, $25 for each additional child. Date: For boys, June 11- 14 For girls, June 18-21 Times: Boys, 9a.m. - 11 a.m. (third-sixth); noon - 3 p.m. (seventh-ninth).

Panthers make playoffs
      The Bullard Panther Baseball Team clinched a spot in the playoffs Tuesday evening after an 8-2 win over the Canton Eagles. "Thank you to all those who came out in support," Coach Dent said, "We appreciate it and hope to see you at every game." Nick Rumbelow's pitching performance set the tone for the game. Rumbelow's pitching was outstanding, striking out 9 for the win.
