Expo, auction ends Saturday

Below, Taylor Frederick displays her Reserve Grand Champion Home Ec project. The East Texas Junior Invitational Livestock Exposition ended Saturday at the Kiepersol Ranch in Bullard. The show benefits Smith county 4H and FFA organizations. Events on Saturday included the junior judging contest at 8 a.m. breeding rabbit show 8 a.m. and sale of champions at 2 p.m.

A $10,000 scholarship was given to Samantha Jordan, to one of the senior exhibitors.

Most Smith County schools participated in the annual event.
