All Saints slips past Guard on Friday

All Saints Trojans slipped past the Brook Hill Guard’s varsity boys Friday night which led to a 69-55 loss for the Guard.

Though the Guard had a two-point lead heading into half time the Trojans quickly tied things up in the start of the third quarter and never looked back.

Spencer Denmon led the Guard with 17 points, Sakhairi Johnson was close behind with 14, Tyler Heingartner followed with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Matt Parker contributed 4; Drew Stanley, Sang Yoon Lee, and Daniel Esquibel all scored 2 and Dallas Taylor, 1.

Lady Guard downs All- Saints

The Lady Guard prevailed against All Sants with a 52-44 victory after getting off to a rocky start.

After ending the first quarter trailing by 7 the girls fought back ending the second quarter with a 22-22 tie and continued to pass the Lady Trojans. The comeback may be

rightly attributed to Shelby Rozell’s 22 well-earned points, many of which were made from her numerous steals.

Abby Lund also added 13; Lauren Smith, 8; Victoria Beall, 6; Katy Hicks, 2; Tyler McDaniel, 1.

BH JV takes win

Brook Hill’s Junior varsity boys held their own against the All Saints Trojans as well. Though the teams managed to stay within just a few points of each other through the game, in the end the Guard went home with a 67-59 vic-
