! Flint post office will be expanding their hours to 8:30-noon on Saturdays this holiday season to accommodate those intending mailing gifts.

! A Christmas Eve C a n d l e l i g h t Communion service is being held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, and a New Year’s Eve Gospel Echos with special music at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 31, both at Bullard First Assembly of God, Hwy. 69 South. Everyone is welcome to attend.

! Bullard ISD trustees meet the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the boardroom of the administration building. The public is invited.

! Bullard City Hall will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25, for Christmas. For emergencies, residents should dial 9-1-1.

! The Bullard Area Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays at noon in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. The public is welcome to attend. Lunch is $6.

! The Bullard Area Chamber of Commerce meets the first Thursday of each month at the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. Refreshments are served at 6 p.m. The guest speaker begins at 6:30 p.m. The business meeting begins at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome.

! Tyler Chapter No. 932 Vietnam Veterans of America meets the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Golden Corral Restaurant in Tyler. For more information, call Roger Carson at 903-570-0618 or Robbie Robertson at 903-876-4935.

! Mission House, at Bullard First Methodist Church, holds its free clinic Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on the fourth Thursday of every month. Mission House clothes closet and food pantry will be open those hours, too. Services are free for those at or below poverty level. Others are charged on a sliding scale.
