! The Bullard Area Chamber of Commerce meets Thursday of each month at the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. Refreshments are served at 6 p.m. The guest speaker begins at 6:30 p.m. The business meeting begins at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome. Members are urged to attend. Officers will be elected at this meeting.

! The Smith County Retired School Personnel Association will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12. The meeting will be held at the Plyler Instructional Complex 807 W. Glenwood St., Tyler. The Texas College Choir will present a collection of Christmas songs. Everyone is invited. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting.
