'Friends of the Library' to hold an organizational meet

The "Friends of the Bullard Community Library" invite all interested persons to an organizational meeting on Thursday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Library.

The "Friends" are a group of library supporters who work to promote the use and enjoyment of the library and to raise funds for the operating expenses of the library.

They operate a used bookstore at the library, as well as sponsor other activities such as the recent golf tournament at Eagles Bluff Country Club.

The "Friends" have recently incorporated and will approve Bylaws at the meeting in preparation for filing for status as a Texas non-profit corporation.

At the meeting officers and directors for 2007 will be chosen and plans made for fund-raising and programs for the coming year.

Anyone who would like to serve as an officer or director should attend the meeting.
