BH volleyball team unbeaten in district
BH Lady Guard celebrates, readies for playoff action

Shelby Rozell hammers home a point during recent competition for the Brook Hill Lady Guard. The team won district with an undefeated 12-0 mark.
The Brook Hill Lady Guard finished TAPPS District 3-A undefeated after a recent home win over Irving the Highlands in volleyball competition.

The Lady Guard won by scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-9 in games played Oct. 19.

Brook Hill receives a first round for winning the title outright.

The Lady Guard for the year has a record of 19-2, 12- 0.

The team will play at home Oct. 31 in a playoff game, against a foe to be determined.

In the win over Irving, the Lady Guard was led by Abby Lund (10 kills, three aces), junior Shelby Rozell added six aces and eight kills, senior Whitney Clements had 23 assists, four aces and sophomore Kelsey Norton came up with 12 digs.

In Tuesday, Oct. 17 action, Brook Hill rolled to a win over Carrollton Prince of Peace by scores of 26-24, 20- 25, 25-16, 25-16.
