Austin Bank promotes Steelman

The Board of Directors of Austin Bank in a recent meeting announced the promotion of Patty Steelman to Assistant Vice President and Marketing Director.

With over 17 years marketing and advertising experience, Steelman joined Austin Bank in October 1999 as the Director of Marketing for their 21 locations.

She attended Panola Junior College, Tyler Junior College, and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing at the University of Colorado and Leadership Tyler Class 19.

Steelman is active in the community where she serves as 2006 Annual Fund Chair and Board Member of the Literacy Council of Tyler, and was the 2006 recipient of the Austin Bank Community Involvement Award for her contribution to the Literacy Council of Tyler.

She is a member of the Tyler Executive Women's Network and will serve as the American Cancer Society Relay for Life 2007 Chair. Steelman, a resident of Tyler, has one daughter, Erin, and is a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
