Early voting

Once registered to vote in Texas, you can vote at your beginning on the 17th day before an election and ending on the 4th day before Election Day in most elections.

There are two types of early voting:

* Oct. 25-27 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

* Oct. 28 - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

* Oct. 29 - 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Early voting branches

* Oct 26 - Whitehouse Jr. High Library: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

* Oct. 27 - Chapel Hill High Cafeteria: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Early voting also will be available from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 24 at Bullard Middle School for both Smith and Cherokee counties.
