Cherokee County Farm Bureau sponsored an Ag Day for JISD fourth graders. The Ag Day was held at the Texas Forest Service location in Jacksonville. There were eight exhibits including Texas Forest Service, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Game Warden Paul Glutt, Cherokee County Master Gardeners , Farm Bureau, and The Mobile Dairy. There were 396 students and 18 teachers in attendance for the Ad Day, where children learn facts and information about agriculture.
