Prize winners
Katy Willard, granddaughter of Gary and Betty Cole of Bullard, competed recently in the Texas Longhorn Association of America's World Qualifying Youth Show. The event was held on Aug. 26, at the North Texas State Fair and Rodeo in Denton. She exhibited two of her grapndparent's registered Texas Longhorn steers in the show. Her 18-month-old steer Resolution placed third in its class and her three-year-old sister Cherokee Chief was named Reserve Grand Champion Steer at the show.
