The students at The Brook Hill Lower School were recently encouraged by their art teacher, Stacie Handrup, to enter a contest sponsored by the Women's Symphony League. Students were asked to submit a design for the cover of the program book for East Texas Symphony Orchestra's upcoming Youth Series Concert of Peter and the Wolf.

Allison Bell, a 5th grade student at Brook Hill, won the competition and received a certificate of recognition, a gift certificate to Toys-R-Us, and complimentary tickets to one of the performances of "Peter and the Wolf."
