'FRIENDS' slate

annual bake sale FRIENDS of the Bullard Community Library will hold their annual bake from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Bullard Brookshire's. Come early for delicious cookies, breads, and other goodies. .

Surcharge added

to water bill Beginning on Bullard city's current water bill, consumers will see a $1 increase. The decision to add the surcharge was made during the 2006- 07 budget deliberations. The money will be used to pursue more water sources for consumers. Those with questions may call 903-894-7223.

! Bullard First United Methodist Church at the Corner of Rather and Cain Streets in Bullard provides, through their Mission House, a monthly health clinic, food pantry, and clothes closet. In November the Mission House will be open on the following dates: Health Clinic: Nov. 30, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Food Pantry and Clothes Closet: Nov. 30 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

! The Bullard Band Boosters meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Bullard High School Band Room.

! Bullard Middle School PTO will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28 in the school cafeteria.

! The Bullard Area Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays at noon in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. The public is welcome to attend. Lunch is $6.

! The Bullard Area Chamber of Commerce meets the first Thursday of each month at the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. Refreshments are served at 6 p.m. The guest speaker begins at 6:30 p.m. The business meeting begins at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome.
