Runners and racers of all ages and abilities gathered together to support an organization near and dear to the hearts of many within the Bullard community, as the Bullard Education Foundation held its eighth annual “Strides for Excellence” 5K Fun Run Friday, April 14, on the grounds of Bullard Independent School District. “We always have a great time with members of our community at the BEF Fun Run,” said Tisha White, BEF president. “We had about 350 people register for the race this year. This year, we had the event on Good Friday, which we were concerned about, but families and members of the Bullard ISD and Bullard community still came out and enjoyed a great event.” more
Bullard First United Methodist Church was 'hopping' with Easter activities recently, as the church hosted children and parents of the community for the annual Bullard FUMC Easter Brunch and Easter Eggstravaganza outreach event, held Saturday, April 8. more
