Seniors Jared Dickey and Gunnar Dorsey of Brook Hill signed scholarships to play at two different NCAA Division II schools Thursday at Brook Hill’s Kyle Lake Athletic Center in front of family and friends. Dickey intends to head to Henderson State while Dorsey plans to play for Texas A&M Kingsville down south.

Bullard earned the District 17-3A championship title by beating all other district teams including Brownsboro, 58-49, Friday, Feb. 3 for their last home game.

Bullard girls’ and boys’ tennis teams faced White Oak in a dual match Thursday, Feb. 2 at home for a win 6-2.

This was Bullard’s first spring dual tennis match and are scheduled to play next in the Jacksonville Varsity Tournament Friday, Feb. 10.

Hunter Wages beat McMillan; 8-1

Brook Hill girls enjoy successful season

Brook Hill’s middle school basketball season came to an end Saturday, Jan. 4 with the 8th grade girls taking the district championship finishing with a 10-2 record and the 7th grade girls finished the season with a 9-4 record placing 2nd in district.
